Robert B. Dresser papers
Robert B. Dresser (1880-1976) wrote right-wing articles and speeches and testified on a number of political topics including the cold war, communism, fair housing legislation, and civil rights. The collection (1939-1975) contains copies of his articles, pamphlets, speeches and testimony.
Lawrence T. Harris correspondence
Lawrence Thomas Harris (1873-1960) served in the Oregon House of Representatives (1901-1903) and as a justice in the Oregon Supreme Court (1914-1924). The collection (1915-1918; 1923-1927) contains personal and political correspondence files and testimony from the Taxpayers Equalization League, a group that supported the Zorn-McPherson bill to consolidate higher education in Oregon.
Fred Phillips testimony
Fred Phillips (1869-1964) of Baker City, Oregon, was in the cattle business for over forty years, and was a board member and president of the Baker [Production] Credit association. The collection consists of testimony Phillips gave regarding his work at the Baker Credit Association during the 1920s and 1930s, especially his work approving loans made by the Association.
