Elijah Lafayette Bristow (1832-1887) is the son of Elijah Bristow (1788-1872), the first white settler within the present day boundary lines of Lane county. Collection contains 1 copy of Bristow's manuscript of " Rencounters with Indians, Highwaymen and Outlaws." He comments on his father's experiences in the upper Willamette Valley; Indian tribes; impact of the California gold discovery; and his own experiences in the mines in northern California in 1853.

Amelia R. Combs lived in Eugene, Oregon and was a member of a history association, “Native Daughters.” Acting as chairperson of a committee to gather information about the history of the Eugene Skinner cabin, the location of Columbia College, and the early history of the first Eugene court, Amelia Combs compiled a report in the form of a list responses to these questions.

Fay Hampton Robertson compiled histories of the Moore, Hampton, and Dillard branches of her family. The collection consists of typewritten copies of those histories as well as the trail diary of Jonathan Limerick Moore (1830-1862).
