Official US Army photographs. [Spruce Production Division, US Army Air Service Aircraft Production album. Incl. Warren ], 1918
This album is made up mostly of photographs produced by A.M. Prentiss and Gifford & Prentiss Inc. The A.M. Prentiss photos are from both series of images he did, the smaller 6 ½” x 8 ¼” prints and the larger 8” x 10” prints. Therefore, the letter “P” has been added to the photo numbers of the larger images to distinguish them from his series of smaller prints.

This album is largely made up of photographs taken by the U.S. Army. A good portion of them are numbered although many are not. Contains photos by Prentiss.

Spruce Production Division, US Army Air Service Aircraft Production album. Warren Spruce Co. Operations in Willapa Bay…. [incl. Prentiss photos], 1918
Since the photographers of the vast majority of the images in this album are known, a separate column listing them had been included here. In addition, the numbers that they assigned to the photos are also listed following their name. In a few instances the photographer isn’t known and the notation “Unknown Photographer” follows the page number. Album includes photographs by Cress-Dale Photo Co. of Seattle; Kinsey; and Prentiss.
Spruce Production Division, US Army Air Service Aircraft Production album. Warren Spruce Co. Operations in Yaquina and Alsea…. [incl. Prentiss photos], 1918
This album is made up entirely of photographs produced by A. M. Prentiss. In addition, the photos are only from his series of larger images, those being 8 x 10 inches in size. None of his smaller series of prints are found in this album. Therefore, even though the numbers on the photos themselves do not contain the letter “P” on them, that designation has been added due to the reasons explained earlier in this work.
