John Clyde Marquis papers
John Clyde Marquis (1881-1965) was an editor of agricultural and gentlemen's magazines and served in the U.S. Bureau of Agricultural Economics. The collection contains personal and professional correspondence, files and correspondence on the International Institute of Agriculture, the American Committee of the International Institute of Agriculture, and the World Agricultural Society.
Fred Phillips testimony
Fred Phillips (1869-1964) of Baker City, Oregon, was in the cattle business for over forty years, and was a board member and president of the Baker [Production] Credit association. The collection consists of testimony Phillips gave regarding his work at the Baker Credit Association during the 1920s and 1930s, especially his work approving loans made by the Association.
