Masters theses

Donald Milton Erb served as the President of University of Oregon from 1938 to 1943. The collection contains records from the Office of the President from 1933 to 1942.

Frederick C. Proehl (1880-1970) was a banker, a grocer, worked for Boeing, and was a member of the Greenback political party, which nominated him for President in 1952 and 1956. The collection (1943-1970) contains correspondence, letters written to newspapers, speeches, a masters thesis regarding the Greenback Party by Proehl's grand-nephew, and publications of the Monetary Reform Committee.

Springer's papers include a Master's thesis on the history of Philomath College (bound version and rough draft), school days newspaper notes, log of her trips, 'animals of Oregon' and other miscellaneous manuscripts, correspondence, and speeches.

George Stanley Turnbull (1882 - ?) researched the history of Oregon newspapers, journalism, and governors, and published at least four books on those subjects. The collection (1930-1940) contains correspondence, speeches, and his master's thesis.
