Umpqua Academy Association was composed of former students and graduates of the Umpqua Academy, a Methodist school located in Wilbur, Oregon. In 1954, the University of Oregon Basketball team undertook an exhibition tour of Asia and the Business Manager for the tour, J.O. Lindstrom, accompanied the student athletes and kept a diary. The collection (1954-1955) contains Lindstrom's diary, reports, and also programs and itineraries of the tour, correspondence and postcards, photographs, collected business cards, and newspaper clippings.

Theatre productions were performed at University of Oregon long before the University Theatre was built in 1949; the Horace Robinson Theatre (as it is now known) is used primarily for Department of Theatre Arts productions. The collection (1909-2009) contains annual reports, publicity materials, production reports, photographs and slides, reviews, correspondence, meeting minutes, and also records from Carnival Theater and Very Little Theatre.

Correspondence is primarily incoming letters. Illustrations include ink and watercolor illustrations for children's books by Unwin and others, notably Elizabeth Yates. Collection also includes several sound recordings and photographs of Unwin.

Liévin Jean Van de Velde (1850-1888) was a captain of the Belgian Army, active in the development and control of the Congo Free State, essentially owned by Leopold II, king of Belgium. The Liévin Van de Velde papers include correspondence, documents, treaties, and photographs documenting his military career and activities in the Congo.

The collection consists of one album containing thirty four images and text produced in 1944 by Oregon Shipbuilding Corp. documenting construction and operation of Vanport City, a shipyard workers' development, in response to a query from an English government official. The town was destroyed by a catastrophic flood in 1948. Although Vanport had a substantial African-American population, only white people appear in the photographs.

Jonathan Wagner (1873- ?) became superintendent of schools at Las Cruces and Santa Fe, New Mexico, was then elected New Mexico superintendent of public instruction, then elected president of New Mexico Normal University, and from 1923 to 1930, served as chief of the Alaska Division of the U. S. Department of Education. The collection contains scrapbooks of correspondence, clippings, photographs and other material from Wagner's career in education, 1917-1933.

The collection consists of 23 images of Alaska and of Eastern Oregon, primarily relating to mining and the Klondike Gold Rush. Some images focus on landscape and Alaska Native peoples.

Gertrude Bass Warner (1863–1951) was an Asian art enthusiast, internationalist, and traveler. The collection consists of lantern slides documenting Asian art, culture, religion and architecture before World War II, in China, Japan, Korea and Cambodia.
