Bend Publishing Company records
This collection includes articles of incorporation and minutes of stockholders' meetings. The incorporators were Archibald Whisnant, George Vath, and James B. Kerr. Also in this volume are the corporate records of the Bend Press Publishing Co., 1916-1919, the directors being Clyde M. McKay, George T. Pearce, and D. B. Stuart.
Henry M. Hanzen papers
Henry M. Hanzen (1879-1967) was a newspaper reporter, attorney, and Oregon political manager. The collection (1917-1960) contains a manuscript chronicling the political history of Oregon from 1900-1960, titled "Power," campaign files of Oregon politicians, Oregon State Budget Director correspondence, Press Publishing Co., and Willamette Publishing Co. files, personal correspondence, legal files and scrapbooks.

Leonard H. McMahan (1866-1957) was a newspaper founder and editor, lawyer, and was active in Oregon political parties. The collection contains correspondence, speeches, legal papers, Public Service Commission papers, State Corporation Commission papers, and Travel Expense Claims of the Attorney General's Office.
U. S. National Recovery Administration. Graphic Arts Regional Code Authority, Oregon records
On February 17, 1934, President Roosevelt established a code of fair competition for the graphic arts industries by executive order; the regional administers in Oregon was Arne Rae, who was succeeded in January 1935 by Steen M. Johnson. The collection (1930s) contains the records from Arne Rae's office included minutes, expense accounts, correspondence, copies of the code, schedules, and forms, and bulletins of the Joint National Code Authority.
