This collection contains information about Oregon Quicksilver Incorporated and Mines Service Incorporated, both located in Oregon. The collection contains superintendent's reports, timecards, stocks, invoices, correspondence, photographs, and legal documents. Milnor Roberts (1877-1965) was a mining engineer, a professor, and Dean of the College of Mines at the University of Washington. The collection (1901-1945) contains project, research, and field work files on mines, harbors, and mining projects in many western states and in Africa, and material includes reports, correspondence, notes, maps, and printed material.
