Samuel Moment worked as an industry development consultant from 1940 to 1954 for the Bonneville Power Administration and from 1955 to 1995 as a consultant to world organizations. The collection contains documents related to the legal dispute over placement of Snake River dams during the Eisenhower administration.

Quincy Scott (1882-1965) was an artist and editorial cartoonist for The Oregonian in Portland from 1931-1949. The bulk of the Quincy Scott political cartoon collection consists of original artwork for political cartoons for The Oregonian created between 1931 and 1949. The collection also includes other political cartoons, sketches, proofs, and early comic strip works.
Frederick Steiwer papers
Frederick Steiwer (1883-1939) became a lawyer who served as Oregon district attorney 1912-1916, was elected to the State Senate, served in WWI, and was elected to the U.S. Senate (1926-1938). The collection contains political campaign records, army records, correspondence and clippings, 1911-1933.
