Love stories

The papers consist of Dana Burnet's correspondence, 1926-1959, primarily with his literary agents Carl and Carol Brandt; manuscripts of short stories, plays and screenplays, most notably The Great Commandment; tearsheets; and contracts.

Mary Gorman (Palmtag) (1908 - ) wrote romance and confession stories. The collection consists of manuscripts, published stories, and professional correspondence.

Arthur G. Stangland (1908-1990) and Artie Stangland/Artie Appleton (1910-1995) were a pair of married writers who lived in Astoria, Oregon. The collection consists of manuscripts and some published copies of stories by both authors, as well as some correspondence.

Mary Jane Waldo (1915-1967) was an author who wrote romances and confessions of 1945, feature stories for the Portland Oregonian, and was an instructor of creative writing at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. Collection consists of manuscripts of stories and poems, a collection of published pieces, professional and personal correspondence, speeches, copyright papers, and a photograph.
