Abstract Randall Vause Mills joined the University of Oregon English faculty in 1938. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Mills wrote two books and numerous articles on transportation in the Pacific Northwest. He also wrote articles on bridge construction and location. Orrin Stanley (1872-1969) was a construction engineer for the Chicago and Northwestern Railway, 1900-1907, and engineer for the city of Portland, Oregon, from 1912. Collection contains letters and blueprints from Stanley's career.
