Bryton Barron (1898- ) was a teacher, a writer, a civil servant, a publisher and, most notably, a political conservative who wrote critically of the U.S. State Department and U.S. Foreign policy. The collection includes correspondence, writings, reports and newspaper clippings.

James W. Clise (1900-1961) held executive positions in Asbestos Supply Companies and several vermiculite companies and was involved in libertarian political activities. The collection includes correspondence, subject files, personal and business files, speeches, articles, and published letters.

Phoebe Courtney was a conservative editor, publisher, and author involved in radical right American politics from the 1950s to the 1990s. The collection contains conservative newspapers and pamphlets written, edited, and published by Courtney.

Robert B. Dresser (1880-1976) wrote right-wing articles and speeches and testified on a number of political topics including the cold war, communism, fair housing legislation, and civil rights. The collection (1939-1975) contains copies of his articles, pamphlets, speeches and testimony.

Consists of correspondence; manuscripts of sermons, editorials and an unpublished novel; and published copies of pamphlets, magazine articles and newspaper editorials.

Augereau Gray Heinsohn, Jr. (1896-1980), an east Tennessee industrialist, was considered to be a leading proponent of conservatism. The collection contains correspondence and literature relating to political conservatism between 1942 and 1974.

Collection comprises organizational records and personal papers documenting Howard Kershner's involvement in the Christian Freedom Foundation, the American Friends Society, and several international children's relief agencies, including Save the Children,.

Robert LeFevre (1911-1986) was a conservative and later radical libertarian journalist, writer and teacher. The collection includes correspondence, literary manuscripts, speeches, organizational files, and other materials that reflect his career.

Frank Purinton (1895-1991) was an activist who sought to preserve the United States and Christianity from the "Communist-Zionist-Satanist" plot. He was active in the American Legion and the John Birch Society and published a patriotic Christian newsletter. The collection includes correspondence, manuscripts, and printed materials reflecting Purinton's views.

George W. Robnett (1890-1975) was an author and advertising executive, and co-founder and executive secretary of the National Laymen's Council, Church League of America. After retiring, Robnett concentrated his efforts on the Middle-East conflict and made three trips to the area. The collection includes correspondence, speeches, publications, and news clippings that reflect his work with the Church League of America and his writing.

E. Merrill Root (1895-1973) was a poet, college English teacher, and anti-Communist activist. The collection includes correspondence, manuscripts, poetry, lectures, photographs, and reviews of his literary efforts.

Peter Steele (1918 - ) was a political and industrial writer who supported conservative causes and wrote against socialism and left-wing politics. The collection contains correspondence, writings, speeches, Associated Industries of Missouri (A.I.M.) files, General Electric reports, Group Research Reports, Inc. files, Communications Research Reports, research lists, and cassette tape recordings by Steele.
