Homer V. Bradshaw was a missionary doctor in China who authored a report about the seizure of the Prebysterian missionaries at the American Presbyterian Mission at Linhsien, Kwangtung Province, China, between 1949-1954. Bruce Jarvis (1885- )was a medical missionary and practiced in China and India from the 1920s through the 1940s. Mrs. Jarvis served in Presbyterian missions in administrative capacities and, after her marriage, in administrative positions in Methodist organizations. The collection includes correspondence, literary manuscripts, publications, scrapbooks, and photographs.

George Van Gorder (1888-1969) specialized in orthopedic surgery and became a professor and surgeon at the Peking Union Medical College Hospital, China. The collection contains bound volumes that include case records, diagnoses, treatment reports, and photographs or copies of x-rays, 1925-1928.
