Willis Chapel Barrett (1891-1963) was a civil engineer who worked for the U.S. State Department on the Yellow River conservancy project in China. The collection contains project files, reports, correspondence, and maps.

Ray Corey (1880-1962) was an engineer who specialized in water supply and sewage disposal plant design and construction, and worked as a state engineering inspector and consultant for Oregon and Washington P.W.A. projects. The collection (1907-1952) consists of scrapbook albums that contain photographs of construction details for major projects in which Corey was involved.

Olaf Laurgaard (1880-1945) was city engineer of Portland, Oregon. The papers are correspondence, reports, plans, specifications, and drawings for a Portland, Oregon waterfront project, 1919-1933, and other city projects.

Harold A. Rands (1871-1952) was a civil engineer who superintended hydroelectric installations, was in charge of power and flood control surveys on the Columbia River and tributaries for the U. S. Corp of Engineers, and served as senior engineer for the construction of the Bonneville Dam and powerhouse complex. The collection contains field diaries, correspondence, reports, project files including Columbia river and Bonneville Dam projects, and photographs.
