Abstract
Thomas O. Russell was a designer and builder of railroad lines and railroad facilities. He moved to Oregon in 1909. From 1929 to 1935, Russell was chief engineer for the Companhia Itabira do Brasil, and planned the Itabira Railroad. The collection consists of designs and plans made for the Southern Pacific Railroad and minor railroad lines in Oregon and California as well as documents and correspondence on the Itabira Railroad project.
