Mrs. Signa Homer uses her radiator warming oven to keep hot the food served in her Chilkoot Inn. this oven is a holdover from Army equipment in the days of '98

Steve Homer's mother sold her house in Connecticut to be with him at Port Chilkoot. Now her cooking at the Chilkoot Inn is famous throughout the North Country.
