The collection consists of one album of the construction of Bonneville Dam, 1934-1936. Images by R.W. Oliver and Bichel; most unsigned. Shows housing, equipment, excavation, construction, spillways. Some workers are named.
Cape Shoalwater, Washington photographs and clippings
Collection contains 41 photographs and several newspaper clippings documenting the rapid shoreline erosion of Cape Shoalwater, Washington circa 1955-1971. Photographs include images of bulwarks and groins erected by residents in efforts to protect the shore. The newspaper articles, which include photographs from the collection, date from 1955 to 1965 and offer background information.

William Thomas Lopp (1864-1939) dedicated himself to improving the lives of Alaskan natives by establishing a Reindeer Station in Cape Prince of Wales, Alaska, and by holding various government posts in education. During his career he established sixty-six schools, five hospitals and sanitation systems, and increased prosperity in the coastal villages of northern Alaska. The collection includes journals, correspondence, and writings related to his work.
