Joy Belsky (1944-2001) was a Portland range ecologist who worked on protecting public lands in the Western United States. The collection includes articles published in scientific journals, newsletters, newspaper articles, government publications, manuscripts, speeches/talks and correspondence.
Victor Boehl papers
Victor Boehl (1901-1965) worked as a logger in Oregon and California, and then as a dairy farmer in southern Oregon. The collection (1938-1960) contains reports and correspondence on water resources and reclamation in the Rogue River basin, Oregon, and issues of the The Creamery Cooperator, published by the Rogue Valley Dairy Cooperative Association, of Grants Pass, Oregon.

The collection contains University of Oregon chapter records that document the functions, activities, and people of the organization. Records include correspondence, newsletters, meeting minutes, membership files, national materials, subject files on transportation topics, and photographs, 1947-1958.
Joseph Leroy Dodds correspondence
Joseph LeRoy Dodds (1891 - 1973) worked in India as a Presbyterian missionary in 1917, and in 1932, Dodds was appointed secretary of the India Council of the Presbyterian Board of Foreign Missions, and four years later he became secretary of the Board itself. The collection (1917-1958) contains correspondence and notes pertaining to trips Dodds made to China, the Near East, and Iran, as well as to his early experiences in India as teacher and instructor at the seminary.
Orval Etter papers
Orval Etter is a former professor at the University of Oregon who founded the Pacifica Forum in 1994. He was a professor of planning, public policy and management. He was also a pacifist and a conscientious objector during World War II. The collection includes information on the Pacifica Forum and the Emerald Chamber Players including articles, newsletters, writings by Etter, material on the Fellowship of Reconciliation, and subject files.
Henry Gilsheuser papers
Henry Gilsheuser served in U.S. Army in the Philippines, rose to the grade of Lieutenant Colonel in the Philippine Constabulary, and was appointed Provincial Governor of Lanao in 1910 and served until 1912, and again from 1915 to 1917. The collection (1907-1916) contains official and semi-official correspondence, Constabulary circulars (newsletters), general orders, and rosters, and also a manuscript regarding the Province of Lanao.
Cheryl D. James defense committee records
Cheryl Dawn James was an eighteen-year-old African American woman from Portland, Oregon, who was convicted of assaulting an FBI agent; a group of interested parties formed a defense committee on her behalf and argued that racism within the court and the FBI had factored into the case. The collection (1967-1975) contains defense committee records, clippings, printed matter, and also newsletters from the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom.
Joseph B. McAllister papers
Joseph B. McAllister was president of the Portland Industrial Union Council. The collection (1936-1942) contains correspondence, papers, and publications relating the the labor movement in Oregon.
Herbert H. Pommerenke papers
Herbert H. Pommerenke and his wife Jean were missionaries in China for over twenty years. The collection contains correspondence to and from China regarding the life and customs of Chinese people and the activities and problems of the missionaries, and also newsletters, 1923-1946.

Roy K. Smith (1885-1958) was a Presbyterian medical missionary in Korea, in Seoul and Mason. His wife was Lura McLane Smith (1885-1979). Collection includes correspondence, newsletters, newspapers, a radio script, US Army Intelligence reports, press releases, and pamphlets.
The Student Insurgent records
The Student Insurgent is a democratically organized journalistic endeavor based at the University of Oregon in Eugene which provides a voice for under-represented students by maintaining a safe space in print and online for radical dissent, free expression and mutual encouragement. The collection includes correspondence, meeting minutes, bylaws, and subject files, Students for a Progressive agenda files, and submissions to the New Liberation News Services publication, 1991-1995.
