Collection comprises seven photographs of the construction of the downtown mall in Eugene, Oregon from 1969 to 1970.

The collection consists of one album of the Eugene Obsidians hiking group, 1928-1934. Clippings and snapshots from club outings to Castle Rock, Heceta Head, Mary's Peak, Bohemia, Fort Rock, Duval Falls, Proxy Creek, Green Peak, Eagle's Rest, Belknap Crater, Skyline Trail, Triangle Lake, South Sister, Cowhorn, Odell Lake, Mt. Thielsen, and Crater Lake.

The Eugene Print Collection assembles images of the city of Eugene and its vicinity. The majority of the images date from the 1880s-1920s.

George R. Fardon (1806-1886) was an English photographer who operated in San Francisco, CA and Victoria, BC. The album consists of thirty images of San Francisco in 1856, published as a portfolio by Herre & Bauer. The San Francisco album is considered the first published compilation of photographs of any American city and the major work of Fardon’s career. This is one of ten known variant copies.

Alzo John Fisher was a Christian missionary. The Alzo John Fisher papers comprise letters, reports, articles, manuscripts, publications, and other information produced or collected by Fisher, all of which pertain to his missionary service in China. The collection also includes histories of Chinese Christian missions, which discuss many of the historical, political, and social events in China.

John Barclay Fisken was the manager, general superintendent, superintendent of light and power, and chief engineer of the Washington Water Power Company. The collections consists of reports and papers from Fisken's career at the Washington Water Power Company.

William Henry Fluhrer inherited his parent's bakery business located in Medford, Oregon, became president of First Federal Building and Loan Association, served as a Lt. Col. in the Air Force during WWII, and later became the commanding officer for the Southern Oregon unit of the U.S. Air Force Reserve. The collection contains scrapbook contents, correspondence and mementos from his service in WWII, and 10 reels of 16mm film.

Merton B. Folts (1902-1967) was an activist in conservative politics and riverine conservation in the Willamette Valley, Oregon, opposing construction of the Lookout Point dam and the City of Eugene's annexation of the Willakenzie area. The collection primarily contains documentation of Folts' activities in the Izaak Walton League.

The collection consists of one album of 41 images signed by John Fletcher Ford (c.1862-1914), a commercial photographer in Portland, showing logging, landscape along Columbia River; city of Portland. One image of military crew on rotating gun emplacement.

Harrison Forman (1904-1978) was an American explorer, aviator, photographer, journalist and author. Collection comprises 62 diaries kept by Forman while a world traveler and journalist, as well as photographs, journalism, interviews, writings, and books by Forman. Collection materials include accounts of the Sino-Japanese conflict, the Chinese government under Chiang Kai-shek, the Japanese bombardment of Shanghai in 1937, and the Nazi invasion of Poland in 1939.

The Fort Huachuca photograph album collection consists of one album of snapshots of an African-American soldier and family at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, circa 1940s.

Ethel Nestell Fortner (1907-1987) was a teacher, principal, and poet. The collection includes correspondence, manuscripts, biographical material, subject files, reviews, publications, scrapbooks, manuscripts by others, audio and reel-to-reel tapes, books, and photographs.

The Fortnightly Club of Eugene was organized in December 1893 by Dr. Alice Hall Chapman as a study club dedicated to continuing education, and later evolved into advocating for library facilities and services in Eugene. The collection contains meeting minutes, scrapbooks and photographs, program books, financial records, and documents relating to club events, projects, and members' work.

The collection consists of thirty-four images documenting three houses on Fowler Street (#327, 337, and 357) in Roseburg, Oregon. The purpose of the collection is to document the properties for historical mitigation as required by local agencies.

Murray Scott Frame (d.1918) was a Congregational missionary and teacher in Lahore, India and Beijing, China, where he witnessed the 1911 Republican Revolution. His brother, John Davidson Frame (b. 1880), was a medical missionary for the Presbyterian Church in Persia. The collection consists of correspondence from the brothers to the family, including Alice Seymour Brown Frame, Murray's wife.

Frank Patterson (1883-1961) operated a photography shop in Medford, Oregon, and then in Santa Rosa, California, building a widely distributed scenic catalog from the 1920s until 1940. The collection consists of 43 postcards of scenery, primarily from the Redwood Highway and the Oregon Coastal highways, dating from the 1920s-1930s.

Amos Fries (1873-1963) was an engineer, served in the Philippines during the Moro uprising, organized the Chemical Warfare Service, and was an advocate for conservative causes. The collection consists of biographical material, correspondence, manuscripts by Fries, others, and Elizabeth Fries, and photographs.

Fred Michael Fuecker (1895-1975) served in the military from 1911-1955, including World War I and World War II. The collection consists of a World War I diary, administrative papers of the provost marshal of Los Angeles and Arizona, and of Service Command Unit 4910, Los Angeles (1942-1944), and seven photograph albums, (1911-1924), scrapbooks and mementos.

Arthur D. Fuller (1889-1966) was an illustrator and artist for newspapers, periodicals, and books, and whose specialty was the illustration of hunting and fishing scenes and outdoor action. The collection (1916-1960) contains sketchbooks, drawings, watercolors, oils, and etchings, published examples of Fuller's work, and correspondence.

Ethel Romig Fuller (1883-1965) was poetry editor of The Oregonian newspaper and in 1957 she was appointed Poet Laureate of Oregon by Governor Robert D. Holmes. The collection contains poetry manuscripts, correspondence, scrapbooks and photographs.

Charles Wellington Furlong (1874-1967) was an explorer, writer, lecturer, an artist, a college professor, a scientist, a cowboy, a collector, and a foreign correspondent to name but a few of his ‘trades.' The collection contains biographical and military records, manuscripts, articles and lectures by Furlong, notebooks and journals, Philippine Island material, photographs and daguerreotypes, correspondence, audio recordings and books.

John Arthur Gamber was an Oregonian who participated in the Spanish American War. The collection comprises correspondence with Mary McAlister, whom Gamber later married in 1904, as well as diaries, photographs, and mementoes relating to the Philippines Campaign during the Spanish American War.

John B. Ganis is an American fine art photographer and a Professor Emeritus at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI. This collection contains 15 color slides representing a sample John Ganis's work from 1987-2000 relating to the topic of consuming the American landscape.

Jesse Jewell Gard (1902-1967) was educated in banking at Rutgers University, worked for various banks in Oregon and was an active member of the Republican Party, serving on the Republican National Committee for many years. The collection contains political files, business and professional records, civic files, personal correspondence, and memorabilia.

Roswell H. Gardiner (1856-?) and his wife were itinerant Northwest photographers active 1887-1895. They spent time in Roseburg, Oregon, the Portland area, and Victoria, B.C. and did business as Atlantic Photo-View and Advertising Co., Great Eastern Photographic and Advertising Co., and Great Eastern Art Co. The collection consists of five images, two of ships and three "On the Line of the Oregon Pacific Railroad" dating 1880s-1890s.

Winfield S. Gardner was active as a photographer in Corvallis, Oregon 1886-1913. He was a partner in Chase & Gardner in 1905. The collection consists of two portraits of the Oregon Agricultural College (now Oregon State University) basketball team of 1908 and 1910.

Doris Gates (1901-1987), renowned author and editor of literary works for children, was born in Mountain View, California. Gates' deep interests in storytelling and mythology are evident in both her oral and written narratives. This collection includes correspondence, manuscripts, and published materials. Also included are records relating to Ginn and Company, publisher of textbooks.

John Gates (1827-1888) was a construction engineer for the Oregon Steam Navigation Co. and the Oregon Railway and Navigation Co. From 1885 to 1888, he served as mayor of Portland, Oregon. The collection consists of correspondence, financial records, legal documents, diaries, scrapbook pages, steamboat plans and inventions, and photographs.

Melvin Clark George (1849-1933) was an Oregon pioneer, lawyer, state senator and U.S. Representative. The collection contains addresses (speeches), essays and letters to newspapers, manuscripts, legal documents, newspapers, artwork and scrapbooks.

Walter Henry Gerke (c. 1891-1982) and Florence Holmes Gerke (1896-1964) were landscape architects. The collection contains 2 flat file folders of architectural plans reflecting their work on the Bonneville Power Navigation project and the Washington Park Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon.
