Content Description
The collection includes posters and promotional materials collected by Helphand. Materials include promotional posters for various lectures and events hosted by University of Oregon departments between 1988-1993. Examples include guest and faculty lectures for School of Architecture and Allied Arts, landscape film series, Northwest Rendezvous conference, and the Pacific Northwest Computer Graphics conference.
Also included are promotional flyers and pamphlets related to real estate and and vacation residential developments in Eugene, Oregon, Central Oregon, and the Oregon Coast. Examples include Black Butte Ranch, Crooked River Ranch, Inn at Otter Crest, Valley River Village, Greentrees, and Salishan.

Biographical / Historical
Kenneth I. Helphand is Philip H. Knight Professor of Landscape Architecture Emeritus at the University of Oregon where he has taught courses in landscape history, theory, and design since 1974.
