Scope and Contents
Robert Leo Heilman (1952- ) is an Oregon-based author, editor, and commentator. This collection includes transcripts of Robert Leo Heilman's interviews with eight notable Oregonians, 1986-1992, as well as his related articles. Interviewees include wildlife biologist and environmentalist Chris Maser; politician and environmental advocate Jim Weaver; Tianenmen Square protests witness David Atman, World War II civilian internees Kitty Miller and Stan and Lucia Kidder; World War II ex-prisoner of war Lloyd Nelson; and track and field athlete Dick Fosbury.

Abstract
Robert Leo Heilman (1952- ) is an Oregon-based author, editor, and commentator. This collection includes transcripts of Robert Leo Heilman's interviews with eight notable Oregonians, 1986-1992, as well as his related articles. The interview transcripts and articles are in digital file formats and address Oregonians' experiences as civilian internees and prisoners of war, enviornmental advocates and forest biology researchers, Tianenmen Square protest witnesses, and Olympic athletes.
