Scope and Contents
Collection comprises six reels of 16 mm film documenting Coos Bay Lumber Company logging operations in Oregon's Coos River Watershed, circa 1920s to 1930s, and one digital image of Jesse Wayne Forrester of Coos Bay Lumber Company, who hired the film crew that created the films. The films document timber felling and transport by train and steamship.

Collection is open to the public.
Collection must be used in Special Collections and University Archives Reading Room.

Jesse Wayne Forrester managed logging operations for the Coos Bay Lumber Company, which operated from 1916 to 1956. Collection comprises six reels of 16mm film documenting Coos Bay Lumber Company logging operations in the Coos River Watershed in Oregon, circa 1930s to 1940s, created by a professional film crew hired by Jesse Wayne Forrester.
