Scope and Contents
The 20th century music scores collection consists of a wide-ranging variety of sheet music, musical scores from films, and songbooks. These contain a wide collection of music ranging from 1905 to 1986, with a bent towards the 1950’s and 1960’s era of jazz, blues, and foxtrot, stylistically. There are many well-known pieces of music in this collection, many of these easily recognized by title, which lends itself to arrangement rationale of alphabetizing by song title.

Collection is open to the public. Collection must be used in Special Collections and University Archives Reading Room. Collection or parts of collection may be stored offsite. Please contact Special Collections and University Archives in advance of your visit to allow for transportation time.
