Scope and Contents

The collection contains meeting and committee minutes, correspondence, and annotated bills referred to the Judicial Council of Oregon, the Interim Committee on Public Lands, the House Judiciary Committee, the House Committee on State and Federal Affairs, and the House Committee on Elections and Reapportionment, as well as general correspondence with constituents and lobbyists.

Material is arranged by committee title and files include correspondence, minutes, notes, reports, memos, annotated bills, and research documents.

Files on the Republican Party and the Republican Convention of 1968 are included in the collection.

Biographical / Historical

Donald Wilson (1921- ) was born in Hebron, North Dakota and educated at Stanford University. He was elected to the Oregon Legislature in 1964, and twice re-elected, representing District 14 as a Republican.

The collection contains meeting and committee minutes, correspondence, and annotated bills referred to the Judicial Council of Oregon, the Interim Committee on Public Lands, the House Judiciary Committee, the House Committee on State and Federal Affairs, and the House Committee on Elections and Reapportionment, as well as general correspondence with constituents and lobbyists.
