Bonneville Regional Advisory Council; Columbia Power Authority and Columbia River and Basin irrigation projects (1949-1951);

Committee for a Boycott Against Japanese Aggression (1938-1939);

National Farm Chemurgic Council (1936-1937);

National Resources Planning Board (1940s) including material on fisheries, a Puget Sound study, and the North Pacific International Planning Project;

Northwest Regional Council and planning (1940s);

City Planning Commission of Spokane;

Washington Board of Education, school district reorganization committee (1939-1944);

Washington State planning Board, Planning Council, and planning council of the Olympic National Park (1930s-1940s).

Abstract

Benjamin Hamilton Kizer (1878 - ) was an attorney and a member and official of planning boards/commissions including the American Society of Planning Officials, Northwest Regional Council, and the National Resources Planning Board. The collection (1934-1959) contains reports, documents, and correspondence of boards and commissions to which Kizer belonged and a transcript of the 1949 State Department Round Table discussion on American policy towards China.
