Christopher Murrin comic collection
Scope and Contents
This collection is comprised of comics collected by comics editor and author, Christopher Murrin, and spans several decades, beginning in the mid-1960's, and ending in the early 2000's. It is not restricted to one comic universe - comics from both DC (Superman, Batman, etc.) and Marvel (Spiderman, The Avengers, etc.) are included - but includes a wide range of styles and publishers.
Some items of special interest are autographed copies of X-Men #1, two comics signed by Scot Eaton, and several issues of the Flash signed by Doug Hazelwood.

Collection is open to the public. Collection must be used in Special Collections and University Archives Reading Room. Collection or parts of collection may be stored offsite. Please contact Special Collections and University Archives in advance of your visit to allow for transportation time.

Biographical / Historical
Christopher Murrin is an editor for FX Networks in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Murrin also edits comics, and several of his own comics have appeared in comic anthologies. Included among Murrin own works are Unlawful Good, Killer Queen, Gangs of Camelot, and Mythos. He has worked as an editor on Archblue Comics, LawDog Comics, and Atomic Tiki Studio.

The arrangement of this collection was derived from the collections creator. Items are arranged alphabetically by the shortened, "colloquial" title of the comic. For this reason, Superman, Volume 36, number 276, whose full title is The Adventures of Superman, appears in the inventory after Action, number 783 .
