Biographical / Historical
Maria Eloisa McLoughlin (1817-1884) was the second daughter of John McLoughlin (1784-1857), pioneer, fur trader and founder of Oregon City, known to many as the "Father of Oregon". She married David Harvey, head of the McLoughlin Mills, in 1850 (her second marriage).
