The collection consists of 37 volumes.

Included are account books, day books, journals, cash books and ledgers.

The account books for the 1850s and 1860s are for Blakely & Brown, the predecessor of Cooley & Company.

Records of the South Side Feed Store of Brownsville, are also included.
