Scope and Contents
The collection (1904-1934) consists of three secretary's and treasurer's books in the following date ranges: 1904-1908; 1904-1918 and 1932-1934; 1912-1918. The volumes contains meeting minutes, and treasurer's accounts.
There is also one folder of material that contains a constitution, charter certificate, flyers, brochures, and other ephemera. The file also includes membership reports with information gathered from Socialist parties in each state, and include member's ethnicity among the statistics gathered.

Collection is open to the public. Collection must be used in Special Collections and University Archives Reading Room. Collection or parts of collection may be stored offsite. Please contact Special Collections and University Archives in advance of your visit to allow for transportation time.

Abstract
The Socialist Party of Albany, Oregon Local No. 2 was in operation in the early 1900s, and then again in the 1930s. The collection (1904-1934) consists of secretary's and treasurer's books that contains minutes, constitution, charter, membership reports, flyers, brochures, and other ephemera.
