Biographical / Historical

James McGaw was a Presbyterian minister. From 1888 to 1893 he served the First Presbyterian Church, Toledo, Ohio; 1893-1897, the Linwood Presbyterian Church, Kansas City, Mo.; 1898-1904, the Third Presbyterian Church, Ft. Wayne, Ind. In 1904 he came to Oregon, and preached, successively, in Grants Pass, Salem, Portland, Union, Woodburn, and Independence, and at the Chemawa Indian School near Salem.
