Scope and Contents
The collection contains correspondence, subject files, and publications.
Outgoing correspondence is organized by date (1962-1965) while incoming correspondence is alphabetically organized by last name or title. Correspondence includes Fellowship of Reconciliation members, U.S. State Department and Selective Service System, and American Friends Service Committee members.
A large part of the collection is made up of working files which are alphabetically arranged subject files. Organizations include peace and anti-war groups and committees, the NAACP, civil rights groups, and church groups among many other organizations and individuals. Files include newsletters, publications, leaflets, bulletins, reports, correspondence, meeting minutes, flyers, form letters, and some financial papers.
Publications include underground newspapers and publications.

Collection is open to the public. Collection must be used in Special Collections and University Archives Reading Room. Collection or parts of collection may be stored offsite. Please contact Special Collections and University Archives in advance of your visit to allow for transportation time.
