The papers of Cornelius DeWitt, German-born children's book illustrator, include original artwork for children’s book illustrations, as well as artwork for proposed publications. Also included are correspondence files and production notes for his work.

Collection comprises architectural plans and photographs related to the construction of the New Heathman Hotel, in Portland, Oregon in 1927; photographs of the interior of the Paramount Theatre, Portland; photographs of designs and finished buildings in Portland and elsewhere in Oregon; and plans for the residence of Mrs. J. The collection includes original Láadan materials, correspondence, publications, academic work, biographical information, music, plays, poems, original artwork, and audiovisual recordings all pertaining to her life as a scholar and an artist in many mediums.

Estes Von Rhein Family papers
The Estes von Rhein Family papers include the personal papers and theater memorabilia collection assembled by Charles (1885-1960) and Amy (1867-1937) Estes von Rhein in late nineteenth to early twentieth century Portland, Oregon. Materials include correspondence, clippings, playbills and programs, artifacts, sheet music, and photographs, primarily relating to the performing arts in Portland.
Lee Ettelson and William Randolph Hearst correspondence
Lee Ettelson (1898 - ?) was an editor of newspapers, including the San Francisco Examiner, and the Chicago Herald Examiner, both of which were owned by William Randolph Hearst (1863-1951). The collection (1928-1940) contains correspondence between Hearst and Ettelson, with incoming letters from Hearst conveying instruction, praise, and censure, and also newspapers annotated by Hearst.

Failing and Beekman Oratory Contest records
The Failing and Beekman student oratory contest at the University of Oregon began with an endowment established in 1883 by Henry Failing and C.C. Beekman that awarded two yearly prizes. The collection contains collected hand-written and typed orations by students, some with notations.

The Feminist and Lesbian Periodical Collection contains 482 lesbian and feminist periodical titles including 36 Oregon titles and 31 international titles. Approximately 80 percent of the entire collection contains titles published during the 1970s. This collection does not duplicate circulating holdings in the UO Libraries for feminist and lesbian topics.
