Latrobe Carroll (1894-1996) and Ruth Carroll (1899-1999) were American authors of children’s literature. The collection includes manuscripts, illustrations and correspondence that reflect the work of Ruth and Latrobe Carroll.
Artist and illustrator, Manning Lee (1894-1980), was born in Summerville, South Carolina. He was educated at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. The Manning Lee Papers consist of original book and magazine illustrations, manuscripts, correspondence letters, and a great deal of miscellaneous material.
Margaret Evans Price (1888-1973) was an illustrator, artist, entrepreneur and writer of children's books. The collection includes original illustrations, published works and tear sheets from American Girl magazine.
