Henry M. Hanzen papers
Henry M. Hanzen (1879-1967) was a newspaper reporter, attorney, and Oregon political manager. The collection (1917-1960) contains a manuscript chronicling the political history of Oregon from 1900-1960, titled "Power," campaign files of Oregon politicians, Oregon State Budget Director correspondence, Press Publishing Co., and Willamette Publishing Co. files, personal correspondence, legal files and scrapbooks.
Lawrence T. Harris correspondence
Lawrence Thomas Harris (1873-1960) served in the Oregon House of Representatives (1901-1903) and as a justice in the Oregon Supreme Court (1914-1924). The collection (1915-1918; 1923-1927) contains personal and political correspondence files and testimony from the Taxpayers Equalization League, a group that supported the Zorn-McPherson bill to consolidate higher education in Oregon.

Binger Hermann (1843-1926) was a Roseburg attorney and politician who represented Oregon in the U.S. House of Representatives for sixteen years, and served as commissioner of the General Land Office (GLO) under presidents William McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt. Ashley Elder Holden (1894-1994) was primarily a journalist but maintained dual careers in journalism and politics, running successfully for a republican seat in the Washington state legislature in 1932. Additionally, Holden published the Brewster Review, The Oriental Outlook, Tonasket Tribune, and, Saga of the Sagebrush.
William Holmes notice
William Holmes (1807-1879) was a pioneer and the first sheriff of Clackamas Country. The collection consists of a notice alerting concerned parties to the sale of the Oregon City properties of William Riley by Holmes to settle a debt to John McLoughlin.

The collection (1934-1959) contains reports, documents, and correspondence of boards and commissions to which Kizer belonged and a transcript of the 1949 State Department Round Table discussion on American policy towards China.

The collection consists of speeches, statements before congressional committees, and memoranda and other material relating to the President's Special Emergency Board on Wage Claims of Nonoperating Railway Employees and the President's Commission on Railroad Work Rules, 1943-1967.

The collection contains a letter from John Minto to William P. Lord, of Salem, Oregon, dated January 15, 1892. In the letter, Minto describes his experiences as an escort for Jesse Applegate, from 1847 to 1848, including travel through the Siskiyou mountains.

Joint Resolution 24, by the Oregon Senate, created an interim Committee of Judicial Administration that was empowered to inquire into and make recommendations regarding the feasibility and need for reorganization of judicial districts in Oregon. The collection (1957-1959) contains questionnaires and evaluations of judges and courts, drafts of bills, subcommittee reports, and recommendations.
