Lyrel Teagarden (born April 23, 1894) served as a missionary in China from 1920 to 1951, in Jamaica from 1952 to 1956, and worked for two years in the Yakima Indian Mission in Washington State (during the early 1940s). The collection includes correspondence, day journals, biographical material, literary manuscripts and newsletters that reflect her missionary career, primarily during the China period.

Charles G. Trimble (1884 - ) was a medical missionary in China. He was associated with the Methodist Mission in Foochow in 1914, and later with the Alden Speare Memorial Hospital in Yenping. The collection (1914-1964) contains correspondence, collected Chinese documents, and a few personal items.

The collection comprises personal diaries, correspondence and material relating to Wakeman's involvement with missionary work in the Congo during the mid-twentieth century. Eleanor Wilson (1891-1972) was a Christian missionary who worked in Japan, Hawaii, and the Pacific in general, particularly the Marshall and Caroline Islands. In 1950 she became captain of the Morning Star VI, a mission ship in the Pacific. The collection consists mostly of correspondence describing her missionary work from 1925-1951; there are also a few miscellaneous items and photographs.

The collection includes Round Robin letters, minutes of the United Presbyterian Church Korean Mission and the General Assembly Department of Cooperative Work, a collection of periodicals including Bible Society News, Korea Bible Magazine, and Korean pamphlets, additionally a sound recording of the voice of Dr. Samuel M. Zwemer.

William P. Woodard (1896-1973) was a scholar of Japanese religion, and served as an advisor on religion and cultural resources during the allied command after World War II. His research and study of Japanese religions resulted in his book The Allied Occupation of Japan and Japanese Religions (1972).
