Scope and Contents
Series 4: Prints depict documentary photography of the Brass Rail Tavern, Loren’s Barbershop, and Pope’s Donut Shop taken during urban renewal demolitions in Eugene. Includes candid photographs of Eugene residents, African Americans, bar patrons, police officers, bartenders, barbers, customers, storefronts, and demolitions of the buildings. The series contains 56 black and white prints measuring 19 x 13” taken between 1971-1973.
