Portland Oregon Visitors Association, 1999-2000, 1999-2000

The Portland Oregon Visitors Association collection contains color slides and photos, field notes, brochures, business cards and flyers from research conducted in Portland Metro's ethnic communities. The Portland Oregon Visitors Association (POVA) contracted with the Oregon Folklife Program to compile information and images from a number of P011land's ethnic communities for a series of cultural tourism brochures. The brochures provide visitors with specific cultural information, history, and site maps for suggested guided tours for the city's Chinese, Japanese, and African American communities as well as a broader look at World Cultures in the Metro area.
