Abstract
Robert Morgan Lyon (1878-1963) was an active duty Lieutenant Colonel, who served as a member of the infantry during the First World War, and was assigned to head the Military Science and Tactics department at the University of Oregon during World War II. The Robert Morgan Lyon papers document the history of Lyon family in the United States and Robert Morgan Lyon's military career and include an autobiography manuscript, letters, photographs, and diaries.
