Abstract Lee Nelson (1927-1994) was an American pioneer in historic and architectural preservation. The Lee Nelson Papers consist of professional correspondence, architectural drawings, published reports, pamphlets, articles, catalogs, manuscripts, photographs, and slides. Abstract

Dwight Fay Rettie worked for and managed a variety of Federal government agencies from 1955 to 1986. The Papers contain documents pertaining to Rettie's work for various government agencies including the Department of Health and Human Services, National Park Service, and Bureau of Land Management. The materials include policy papers, subject files, meeting minutes, speeches, and correspondence. Also included are personal correspondence, writings, and publication materials.

Abstract

John Roberts White (1879-1961), an English soldier who served with the Philippine Constabulary, was also superintendent of the Iwahig Penal Colony, and served in the U.S. National Park Service. The collection includes biographical material, diaries, correspondence, publications, clippings and ephemera, scrapbooks, and photographs.
