The collection contains a letter dated July 31, 1894 from Wistar Morris, of Portland, Oregon to Aaron E. Wait regarding an Episcopal Church publication. In the letter, Morris writes that he fears the Oregon Churchman may cease publication.

Reginald A'Court Simmonds (1884-1962) served as rector of St. Mark's church, Protestant Episcopal, in Portland, Oregon, 1924-1951. The collection contains sermons, sermon notes, correspondence, service programs, publications, a diary of a trip to England, and personal mementos and photographs.

George Browne Van Waters (1856-1934) was a Protestant Episcopal clergyman who served in Pennsylvania before traveling to Oregon where he became the Oregon Diocese from 1891-1924, and founded St. David's and Grace Memorial Church in Portland, Oregon. The collection contains correspondence, parish records, sermons, a timber account book, family legal and financial papers, and penal reform documents by Miriam Van Waters.
