Eric William Allen papers
Eric W. Allen (1879-1944 ) was the first Dean of the School of Journalism, University of Oregon, and held that post from 1916 to his death in 1944. The collection (1917-1934) contains personal and professional correspondence, and a few manuscripts.
School of Journalism and Communication records
The School of Journalism and Communication (SOJC) at the University of Oregon was created in 1916 and offers undergraduate and graduate degrees. The collection includes faculty meeting minutes and correspondence, special lecture and symposium information, SOJC publications, accreditation reports, records of the Dean's office, awards, scripts and audio tapes, and event information, 1915-2010.
George Stanley Turnbull papers
George Stanley Turnbull (1882 - ?) researched the history of Oregon newspapers, journalism, and governors, and published at least four books on those subjects. The collection (1930-1940) contains correspondence, speeches, and his master's thesis.
