This collection consists of one photograph album depicting the commercial logging and lumbering operations of the Booth-Kelly Lumber Company in Mosby Creek and Springfield, Oregon in the mid-twentieth century. Abstract
Algernon Cyrus Dixon (1875-1962) was a director of the Ochoco Timber Co., Eugene, and trustee and president of the West Coast Lumbermens’ Association. From 1911 to 1923 he served on the Board of Regents, University of Oregon (UO), much of the time as chairman of the building committee. The collection includes correspondence with UO presidents Prince L. Campbell and Arnold Bennett Hall, and with Mrs. George T. Gerlinger, Joseph N. Teal and H. Phimister Proctor.
