William Buckhout Greeley (1879-1955) was chief forester of the U.S. Forest Service from 1920-1928, and then became secretary-manager of the West Coast Lumbermen's Association.The collection consists of diaries, correspondence, articles, manuscripts and photographs.

Peter Bernard Kyne (1880 - 1957) a soldier who served in the Spanish American War and WWI, became an author whose war experience provided the background for many of his later stories. The collection (1898-1918) contains correspondence written while Kyne served in the Philippines, during his discharge between wars, and a later letter written in France during WWI.

Richard Wilbert Perry (1874-1957) was a medical doctor who travelled the world before settling in Seattle, Washington. The collection includes Perry’s unpublished autobiography, "Memoirs of a Medico," as well as other miscellaneous papers.
